I would like to nominate Dump the Junk in the Trunk's fearless leader, Reema Rafii, for the most inspirational team captain.

Reema is an inspiration through her own lifestyle choices. A little over a year ago, she made a commitment to becoming healthier. Since then, she routinely works out with a trainer, leads spinning classes at her gym, and recently became a certified ZUMBA dance instructor. She is a leader who walks the talk.

In motivating our team, Reema has challenged to us face our biggest fears around fitness and try to overcome them; to push ourselves beyond our normal comfort zone; and she has encouraged several members out of a slump. For example, she has spotted people waiting for the elevator, and prompted them to use the stairs with her. She's made personal, individual trips to each team member to check on their daily habits. Rarely does a day go by that she doesn't send a message to encourage us to be active and remind us about upcoming events. Reema makes sure we all are engaged and participating! None of these are easy tasks, given that we have a full team of 10 members.

This is my first Live Well Challenge, but it won't be my last. I have thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie of my team and the opportunities it's afforded me to improve my less-than-stellar lifestyle behaviors. I credit Reema for the success and delight I've experienced through this program.

Respectfully, Amy Laurent, Member of Dump the Junk in the Trunk
