2007 King County Live Well Challenge

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year’s Live Well Challenge! Nearly one thousand employees on 127 teams participated. Each and every department across King County had at least one team.

Top Winners were honored at a ceremony at the Health and Benefits Fair held October 9 at Union Station. Weekly winners and winners in special categories were announced throughout the competition.

1st Place – End Justified the Jeans, Public Health

2nd Place – UFC: Ultimate Fitness Court, Superior Court

Executive Staff

Feet vs. Fleet

Public Health’s Feetissued a special challenge to Department of Transportation’s Fleet for bragging rights. The teams gathered for a friendly lunch and got 5 bonus points for the health promotion activity.

When we announced prizes for the most creative team photo, we thought county employees would have fun . . . And boy, were we right! This year, inspirational team captains were featured on the team photos pages.
