2008 Live Well Challenge How To Set A Goal

During registration, you will be asked to set a personal Goal. This goal should represent the number of points you think you can earn during a three week period.

You can earn up to 100 Goal Points for reaching this personal goal. At the end of week 3, if you reach your goal you will earn 50 Goal Points. You have a second chance to earn Goal Points in weeks 4-6. At the end of week 6 if you reach your goal, you will earn an additional 50 Goal Points.

Review the Goal Setting Worksheet to help you set a personal goal. Set a realistic goal, but be sure to challenge yourself.

Note: You must set a minimum goal of 96 points.

How Goal Points are Calculated

Goal Points are calculated by adding the total number of Stress Less/General Health, Healthy Behavior and Worksite Health Promotion Activity points in weeks 1-3 and comparing this number to the personal goal you set at the beginning of the Challenge.

If the total number of points is greater than or equal to your personal goal, you will automatically receive your Goal Points! This process is repeated for weeks 4-6.

Note: Special Activity/Event Points are not used in the Goal Point calculation
