Carpool, bike, and walk incentives

If you work outside downtown Seattle, you can earn a $20 Commuter Bonus Plus Voucher for any month in which you carpool (with at least one other person of driver age), bike, or walk to work at least 51% of your workdays and commute miles. The vouchers can be used at AAA/Washington, Brown Bear Car Wash, Union 76 gas stations, REI, the YMCA, or Flexcar.

Outside downtown Seattle is defined as the area north of Denny Way, south of South Dearborn Street, and east of I‑5.

How to participate

In order to receive vouchers, you need to register for the program and fill out a simple claim form each month. For more information, contact your Employee Transportation Program coordinator.
