About the Public Health HIV/AIDS Program
Vision Statement:
As members of the Public Health - Seattle & King County HIV/AIDS Program, we envision every person effectively preventing and/or effectively managing HIV infection.
The HIV/AIDS Program coordinates and collaborates with health care organizations, universities, community-based groups and other Health Department programs to provide essential prevention, research and care services.
The HIV/AIDS Program serves all of King County from its downtown Seattle offices located at 400 Yesler Way, 3rd Floor, Seattle, WA 98104. The phone number is (206) 296-4649. Program sections located at the Yesler Building include: Administration, Education, Care, The Resource Library, Drug Use Prevention, The HIV/STD Hotline and Epidemiology.
Together, the HIV/AIDS Program staff perform a wide range of educational, and research activities as well as community-wide coordination, planning, and policy development.
The materials in our lending library are available to the public free of charge:
- Videotapes and slides
- Books journals, articles and curricula
- Brochures, pamphlets, posters, and community resource lists
- Literature searches upon request

Trail to Treatment (Adobe PDF format)
